I had different things and events to disrupt my daily routine. I have been having a difficult time getting back into my routine, but that is changing because I am starting today. I will be working on editing my chapters and putting back my routine.
I’ve been improving my editing skills by reading books on how to edit. Then using the techniques I learned, bybputting them into practice.
It has been difficult. I’m learning to see my manuscript in my readers’ eyes and using these techniques that I’ve never used before. It can be very overwhelming and very discouraging. Sometimes, I just wanna walk away.
I’m committed.
When I get discouraged or overwhelmed that is when the ADD kicks in and I become very easily distracted by different things. That can be such a frustrating experience.
So how do I deal with the frustration? I take a short break, work on another project, or provide time for my mind to rest, allowing my creative juices to rejuvenate.
I am making a lot of progress on my manuscript and I see it coming together in the way that I want.
Today is a good day to do some writing and editing…
Over the last couple of weeks, my body has been through a lot, and my joints are hurting, it is more like background pain. I am counting down the days until I get my infusion next week. In the meantime, I have been editing my manuscript, and short story, and working on my organization skills.
But I am at the point where I’m forcing myself to do things like housework, and editing because I just don’t feel well. This is what life is like living with a chronic illness.
In the most recent episode of my podcast, I will be discussing ADD and cleaning, what happened at my last infusion appointment, and my manuscript.
