Today is the first day of spring! Once again, I made it through another winter but, it wasn’t that harsh. Something deep within my soul tells me winter is done.
I believe we are connected with nature; and our ancestors knew winter was a dangerous time because the hardship of the cold and dark season, and why we celebrate the first day of spring.
Now, the temperatures are warming up slowly and more sunny days are coming. The trees are still asleep; I’ve watched for leaves to bud. Nothing. It won’t happen until April.
Also, spring brings severe weather like tornadoes and strong winds. Already, March has been very rainy and windy too in northern Indiana.
I’m wondering if March will roar like a lion, but it will be revealed at the end of March.
