My visit to the lab was to get my blood work drawn.
Today, I needed to have my labs drawn for an upcoming doctor’s appointment. There is a lot of scar tissue on my left arm because it is straighter than my right arm. So, getting my labs done is a poke of a roulette game, not knowing how experienced the lab tech will be.
When I went today, I had an extraordinary lab tech who did a terrific job. I didn’t even feel the needle go in. He found my vein on the first try! Yay!
I told him that he did an excellent job. It made his day, and behind his mask, I knew he was smiling.
